About Us

A local voice. A voice of the community to fundraise, to help direct donor dollars and to advocate for the needs of our community.

We are a group of Innisfail and area residents that are passionate about health care, who have taken a more active role in fundraising for the Innisfail Health Centre, with the hope of bringing more advanced medical resources to our community

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my tax receipt for my donation?

Donor tax receipts for online donations will be emailed immediately to the email address provided. For donations mailed in or dropped off, donation receipts will be issued within 90 days.

Why should I consider a gift to the Innisfail Health Centre Fundraising Committee in my will?

Bequests continue to play a crucial role in advancing the Innisfail Health Centre Fundraising Committee vision: improving healthcare in our town and making it accessible to all residents. A charitable bequest also gives you the comfort of knowing your assets are available today, while enabling you to leave a larger gift than might be possible in your lifetime. It’s also one of the most efficient ways to give: a gift in your will can reduce, or even eliminate, the tax burden on your beneficiaries, since your estate will receive a tax receipt for your gift.

Why is it important to have a will?

A will is the easiest, most effective way to ensure your assets are distributed according to your wishes, and to provide for the people and causes you care most about. A properly planned will can reduce or even eliminate the taxes on your estate. A will is a gift you make today for tomorrow.

What is your legal name?

The name you should include in your will is “Innisfail Health Centre Fundraising Committee.” We operate as a committee under the legal entity of the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation but our funds are kept separately under this name.
